Controls Engineer

Job Duties:
  • Program High Speed Robotics Systems
  • Remote customer support
  • Field customer support
Job Requirements:
  • 5 years minimum working knowledge in the field of control systems engineering and industrial automation.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, industrial communication networks and motion control.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree is helpful, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 30% annual travel is a requirement.

Documentation Specialist

Job Duties:
  • Creates and maintains all technical manuals for OEM equipment builder
  • Work with all departments within the company to establish manuals specific criterion and maintain appropriate timing with machine shipments
  • Responsible for firming, plotting and organizing production prints for manufacturing utilizing company MRP system
Job Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or technical field preferred
  • 2 years of technical writing or technical hands on work preferred
  • Must be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • MRP software experience highly preferred

CNC Machinist

Job Duties:
  • Operate CNC Mill or Lathe machining centers
  • Inspect parts per prints using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, bore gauges, pin gauges and depth micrometers
  • Complete daily job orders assigned by a production schedule
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in a CNC machinist lathe or mill position
  • Understanding of tooling requirements to set up and operate machines, including pre-setting of tools and the understanding of M&G codes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
  • Proficient with basic math skills and conversion to metric system

Quality Control Inspector

Job Duties:
  • Approve incoming and in-process material by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable material
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality tracking database
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs and calibration as needed
  • Create training material based on current educational needs of the company workforce and performs training for departments and individuals
  • Travel to the company’s partner Chinese factory for in depth piece part quality inspection duties prior to shipment to the states. Must be comfortable working with Chinese partners to create and maintain schedules
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or 5 plus years manufacturing quality inspection experience required
  • 2 years of machining experience preferred. Must be able to read and interpret machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication blue prints
  • Must be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • ERP/MRP software experience highly preferred

Debug Technician

Job Duties:
  • Finish a machine and get it ready for the customer in accordance with our internal FAT document(s)
  • Mechanically set up systems and run product at cycle rate
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise, whether mechanical or electrical
Job Requirements:
  • Able to read Electrical and Pneumatic Schematics
  • Able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  • Willing to travel to assist service personnel in field
  • Attention to detail

Production Expeditor

Job Duties:
  • Move completed parts to and from work centers from defined “out racks” to the next routing location
  • Organize weldment kits and places completed weldments into the welding area for final weld
  • Scan completed prints, relieving the Manufacturing order from the shortage report, prior to placing manufactured parts into welding kits
  • Maintain racks in the Acu-Rite area, feeding the racks machine parts by priority from the communal rack daily
Job Requirements:
  • Heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, and physically demanding work for up to or over 8 hours per day
  • Experience in machining, raw material, assembly or fabrication processes including the use of measuring devices desirable
  • ERP/MRP software experience preferred
  • Must be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
