Müller Transfers Technology to CBW Automation

Swiss-based MOLD & ROBOTICS group has announced that subsidiary H. MÜLLER-Fabrique de Moules SA, a global specialist in in-mold labeling (IML) systems, is transferring its technology and know-how to sister company CBW Automation in the U.S. MÜLLER’s leading-edge IML systems will be manufactured in North America for the first time at CBW Automation’s Fort Collins, Colo. facility. A cross-functional team has been established between MÜLLER and CBW to coordinate the transfer of the engineering designs, control programs, manufacturing techniques, and optimization processes for these types of systems.

As of January 1, 2019 the responsibilities as CEO of the Mold & Robotics Group will be transferred from Udo Gröber to the former Sales & Marketing Director Thomas Federer. Udo Gröber will not depart from the company but will remain on the Board of Directors and will focus on strategic development for the future growth of the company. The transfer of the operational management to Mr. Federer, as CEO, is a logical step that can be taken without major changes or any disruption to the operations.
